35 Stories to Make You Think
This book offers a comprehensive range of topics across the RE and PSHE guidelines and brings together all the stories in the three titles: Stories to Make You Think, More Stories to Make You Think and Further Stories to Make You Think.
The material can be used either in a one-to-one situation or with a group, especially in the classroom, but also in the context of the church and the family.
The stories are based mainly on real-life experiences and thus provide an accessible entry point into difficult subjects.
Heather Butler has taught at primary level for over 25 years with a particular emphasis on special needs. Since becoming RE subject leader six years ago she has worked on ideas and resources to help children learn from RE as much as about RE. She now teaches part time, leading RE and spirituality workshops in schools across the UK as well as whole school story writing days and inset training. Heather is author of many books, including plays, assembly material, short stories and resource books for teachers.
